Job Description


The Transport Planner will be responsible for the following tasks and activities:

  • Daily support for transport planning and transport operation issues
  • Contacts with freight forwarders, logistics service providers and the European DENSO production companies
  • Solving irregularities in daily/weekly route planning.
  • Setting up the daily/weekly planning of the DENSO transportation network
  • Registering and reporting Key Performance Indicators
  • Conducting negotiations with external parties, including DENSO's production companies

Qualifications


The ideal candidate we are looking for has the following characteristics:

  • You have a bachelors degree in Logistics or equivalent and have relevant experience in the Logistics
  • Preferably experience in an International (automotive) organization or Production /Purchasing environment
  • Good analytical skilss and a team player who is able to work independently
  • Good communication skills and a hands- on mentality
  • Experience in working with spreadsheets and databases
  • Knowledge of the English and Dutch language, both in verbal and writing.
