The Transport Planner will be responsible for the following tasks and activities:
- Daily support for transport planning and transport operation issues
- Contacts with freight forwarders, logistics service providers and the European DENSO production companies
- Solving irregularities in daily/weekly route planning.
- Setting up the daily/weekly planning of the DENSO transportation network
- Registering and reporting Key Performance Indicators
- Conducting negotiations with external parties, including DENSO's production companies
The ideal candidate we are looking for has the following characteristics:
- You have a bachelors degree in Logistics or equivalent and have relevant experience in the Logistics
- Preferably experience in an International (automotive) organization or Production /Purchasing environment
- Good analytical skilss and a team player who is able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a hands- on mentality
- Experience in working with spreadsheets and databases
- Knowledge of the English and Dutch language, both in verbal and writing.
