The job
You will play an important role in Fill & Finish production Expansions. Your primary focus will be on building our new global and digital AP Module and accelerating the implementation across global sites. Additionally, you will also be part of a group responsible for advancing the use of new innovative and existing technologies.
As part of the program, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers.
- Evaluating and enabling IT, automation, digital solutions and architecture, while drawing a good balance between speed, simplicity and scalability.
- Collaborating closely with process, engineering and production responsible stakeholders to assess requirements and rightly influence the design.
- Being an active and strong voice amongst a network of automation engineers, specialists and architects.
- Establishing a broad network across stakeholders from Global IT, PS sites, process and engineering responsible in addition to multiple suppliers involved.
It’s important to note that some travel activity will be required for this position.
Please also note that there are several open positions available within the areas of Filling, Formulation, Clean Utilities, Inspection, HVAC/BMS, and Environmental Monitoring.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate holding a master, bachelor, or technician degree within automation or/and IT and have technical experience in the automation/production industry.
- On top of that, you can tick off most of the following as part of your toolbox:
- Experience in one or more of the following technologies: MES, PCS, IOT, PLC and Industry 4.0.
- Understanding of Automation architecture and IT solutions within a production environment
- Project management skills (it’s not a need but will be an advantage).
- Experience working in a GMP regulated industry environment from previous jobs (it’s not a need but will be an advantage).

About the department
DD&IT PS – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future.
Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.
As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
